This is a handsome set of towing mirrors for my 2000 Ford F350 XLT Dually. I especially like the large convex auxiliary rear view mirrors - great for backing up with a trailer. Included is a pictorial manual with reasonable explanations. There is also a pigtail adapter included, which I did not need. I was able to connect my new mirror cable directly to the existing connector. It does take some time getting used to the truck with these large mirrors. It looks like Big Ears! The mirrors do not extend much past the old mirrors, but the larger size gives a great rear view. I included a photo with the mirror folded in. My truck does not have the turn signal and heating function in the wiring. I wish they would sell an upgrade kit for old trucks like mine. I had no problem installing the mirrors. They fitted neatly in place, including over the widow seals at the bottom (see photo). Here are a few things to note during the install: First remove the door panel and unclip the electric cable to the mirror. Then remove the mirror. Both the old and new mirrors are heavy. Although the manual mentions 11 mm hold-down nuts on the mirrors, on my truck they are 10 mm and the new mirrors are also 10 mm. To prevent the mirror nuts from dropping into the door cavity, I placed a blob of grease in the socket. It worked well to hold the nuts during unscrewing, as well as when assembling. If you drop a nut, don’t worry - the old nuts fit the new mirror. There is a foam seal loosely fitted to the bottom of the base. There are sections of this foam seal that must be cut out before fitting (see photo). Once the new mirror was in place, I started to tighten the nuts. What helped the mirror to fit snugly in place, was to give the new mirror a shake in between tightening down the nuts. Also make sure the power cable does not get pinched. About 10 minutes after tightening the nuts, I found the mirror to be loose. I had to re-tighten the mirror nuts 3 times over a 30 minute period. I am guessing

I got these to replace the towing mirrors on my Excursion. They installed easily and have all the functions of my original mirrors except that these new ones have a turn signal built-in. I may later try to figure out how to get that working too but for now they work perfect. I can see so much better and the image is stable.

They work great but they lack the temperature sensor that is located in the passenger side mirror that is on the original factory mirrors. AC will not work without the temperature sensor. I removed the temp sensor from the original mirror and relocated it to inside the door panel.

Well I contacted the seller who responded quickly I had a light out tap it it works so far no problem except I love the way they look and work great but at 70 mph there is noise on the passenger door drove me nuts trying see if it was the panel mirror panel dash I check everywhere I pull up and down on the mirror lightly ask if it was the same noise confirm it was the mirror vibrations doing so try righting the bolts again and nope just the passenger mirror drivers side is fine so hopefully seller see this and give hos advise what to do love the look of them

I got these to go on my 1999 F250 super duty quad cab.tbey fit just fine. They really gave some new life to the old truck. These mirrors are nice and big. They are a good replacement for the beat up old towing mirrors on my truck. They adjust well and have good range of vision. The housing is sturdy plastic and the glass reflection is clear.

These come as they are shown. I did find that they do not fit my Yukon and it said it would so that was disappointing. But they are high quality and are made with durable material and are easy to pull out and situate them where you need them

These mirrors went on perfectly and are just the right style and functions for my legal truck. Great price too.

The mirrors are terrific! They went in very easily. However, keep in mind that some older F pickup trucks did not have wiring for the turn signals. You'd have to run another wire to each mirror for the mirror installed turn signals to work. Therefore, mine may look good for status, but they don't work! LOL!
