I bought this handrail last Summer, but had to pour a concrete pad first. Then had to wait for concrete to cure to maximum strength. By then, Fall & Winter set in. So, I just finished installing it about 2 days ago, 04/29/22. The company needs to increase the mounting base plates by 1/2" each way and space the holes to better accommodate the anchors and bolts. I had to use an open end wrench just a fraction of a turn at a time to tighten the bolts. This 72 year old man would have liked to use a socket wrench instead of working on the ground for such a long time with an open end wrench. Also, I made my own drilling jig to ensure that the holes would be in perfect alignment. It pretty difficult to accomplish drilling into concrete let alone being in perfect alignment so that all 4 anchor bolts can line up on each leg. Good Luck!John, Mill Creek, WA
