This item is HEAVY and it was packed loose in a cardboard box. Were it not for some good quality tape holding the parts together, it never would have made it. The box had big holes and tears from this monster machine "rattling" around in it. The machine came way out of adjustment. The bolts were loose and not at all near where they needed to be. There are absolutely NO instructions. Fortunately it's a simple machine to figure out and with a little effort, I was able to get it adjusted and working. Once that was done, the machine works just like it is supposed to. Ideally, it needs to be bolted down to a work surface to prevent it from tipping. But for the price, It's a nice tool.
