I unpacked this item and found some light scratches symmetrically opposite each other, maybe by some industrial process, but i can live with those.The can is nicely made, the metal as thick as advertised, and overall it looks to be an heirloom item.I bought this to sit on top of my woodstove, full of water, where it absorbs the heat spikes and releases them when the fire diminishes.It works well and I’m very pleased to have invested money in a quality piece of manufacturing.

This container is better than advertised and is beautiful.. Good locking lid with nice seal all welds are strong and durable and shiny finish is very nice.. would definitely recommend..

Product works great, needed a good cleaning prior to first use.
